Description
Glutinous rice (Sticky rice) is a type of rice in which, due to its high starch content, the rice grains stick together completely when cooked – even more than with round grain rice.
Sweetened with palm sugar and coconut milk it makes a wonderful dessert, especially served with ripe mango. Sticky rice is perfect for eating with your hands rolled into a small ball and dipped into spicy sauces – like Green Papaya Salad juices or bottled Sweet Chilli Sauce. Can be served in this manner with Thai Barbecue Chicken.
